I'll have to chime in with Gambino and Gryph on this. I got into Tribes because it was sold as a storied combat-sim, not an action game. I played it (and continue to play it) solely because even after four years, I still have to stretch my brain to come up with attack and defense plans, or to figure out how to sneak through a heavy sensor net unseen, or what exactly to take with me relative to the current battlefield simulation. And then there's the times where I have long-time parters fighting at my side--that's a whole new ball game, adjusting tactics to take advantage of my teammate's skills.

In short, I play because it stimulates my brain more than it does my reflexes. That, and then there's the backstory. :)

Mind you, I'll be happy to duel ya, Spec, but don't expect to see me on such servers all the time. I have tanks to drive and bombers to fly, you know. ;)
